Southland ISD's Technology department maintains an infrastructure of Dell laptops and iPads. Each student at the school is provided a device to assist them in their classwork. Students in Kindergarten to 2nd grade are provided iPads that stay on campus and are used with various curricula. From 3rd grade through seniors, students are equipped with Dell laptops that they take from class to class each day. These devices can be brought home with the student upon the teacher's instruction to help them with homework or virtual assignments. Southland ISD is a long-time partner with M365 and uses its line of products for instruction. These are products like Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams, to name a few.
Teachers are equipped with a Dell Desktop and Laptop to assist in instruction and day-to-day tasks. Classrooms are also equipped with Epson Smart Projectors to support visual instruction.
The Southland ISD technology department is determined to maintain the current technological infrastructure and innovate as needed to provide students with all necessary equipment. The Technology Department believes in equipping the students of Southland ISD for the future and beyond.
Thank you for your continued support in developing our students.
